Elderly woman brutally attacked on farm near Mossel Bay

An 82-year-old woman from Herbertsdale is fighting for her life in a Mossel Bay Hospital, after she was allegedly assualted in her house on the farm Tierkloof on Friday evening.

The elderly woman was allegedly assaulted by two men using garden shears.

A minor has since been tracked down by police, and was arrested.

Some of the stolen items belonging to the victim was found in his possession.

The other suspect is still at large.

The possibility exists that the woman was also raped.
