An elderly woman from Centane is expected to appear in the Centane Magistrates Court on Tuesday following her arrest for the illegal possession of a firearm.
Police Spokesperson Captain Jackson Manatha says the 70-year-old woman was arrested on Monday following a tipp off.
The woman was in possession with an unlicensed fireararm and 12 rounds of ammunition.
