The ANC in the Eastern Cape is mourning the sudden passing of the party's Nelson Mandela Bay chief whip, Buks Ndoni.
ANC provincial spokesperson, Lulama Ngcukayitobi, said that he passed away during a meeting at the ANC's regional offices at Florence Matomela House in Nelson Mandela Bay on Monday afternoon.
He said the entire ANC Provincial Executive was saddened by Ndoni's passing.
"He was a very calm, collected and ethical leader that we have seen in recent times in Nelson Mandela Bay," Ngcukayitobi said.
He added that the ANC in the Eastern Cape sends its condolences to the Ndoni family.
