Thornhill Police arrested four suspects shortly after they attacked an elderly couple on a farm in the district on Monday.
Several stolen firearms were recovered during the arrests.
Police spokesperson Marianette Olivier says a Toyota hi-ace minibus was also recovered.
She says at the farm house, police found the elderly couple in their 70's tied up together with 2 workers.
According to police information, approximately 10 suspects attacked the couple and fled with firearms, ammunition and cellphones.
Three young suspects were arrested in bushes near the farm house and a fourth was apprehended in a house in the Phase 2 township at Thornhill.
Thornhill Station Commissionr, Captain Neil Hendricks, said the search was on-going for the remaining six suspects.
