Elderly Port Elizabeth woman found murdered

Port Elizabeth police are searching for one or more suspects, after a 74-year old woman was found murdered in her Beverly Grove home on Saturday.

Spokesperson, WO Alwin Labans says the incident happened at around 13:30 in Bendor street.

He says the woman's son-in-law discovered her body on a bed in her granny-flat.

Labans says the elderly woman was assualted and murdered.

Police are investigating.
