Eastern Cape police are searching for two men who attacked and robbed an elderly Mossel Bay couple after their car had a flat tyre.
Provincial police spokesperson, brigadier Marinda Mills, says the incident happened between Tsolo and Maclear late on Friday night.
She says an 84-year-old man was hospitalised after being assaulted and stabbed by the two men who stole cellphones, jewellery and cash.
His 61-year-old wife received medical attention but was not hospitalised.
Their two-year-old grand-daughter was unharmed.
Mills says police are following up good leads and arrests are imminent.
