Police in Kirkwood are investigating a case of murder after an elderly farm manager was killed.
Spokesperson Brigadier Thembinkosi Kinana says the 68-year-old Asheck Makotore was attacked in a vegetable project farm near Bersheba on Monday.
He says the incident was reported to the police and upon arrival, they found the man with open wounds in his upper body.
Makatore was rushed to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Brigadier Kinana says the motive for the attack is unknown at this stage and no arrests have been made.
