A 43-year-old East London taxi driver is expected to appear in court on Monday on a charge of culpable homicide.
Police spokesperson, captain Stephen Marais, says this follows a collision in Gonubie Main Road on Saturday between the taxi and a motorcycle.
He says the 33-year-old biker died on the scene.
Marais says police have also charged the taxi driver with driving under the influence of alcohol.
