East London police arrested two suspects driving around in a stolen vehicle in the early hours of Friday morning.
Spokesperson, Capt. Stephen Marias says the police's dog unit was busy with a routine patrol in the city's CBD, when they noticed 4 men wearing balaclavas driving in a Ford Bantam bakkie.
He says they gave chase, and two suspects, who were on the back of the bakkie, jumped off and fled on foot.
Marais says the driver and his passenger were pulled over and arrested.
The vehicle was reported stolen in Walmer, Port Elizabeth in October.
Marais says police are investigating whether the suspects could be linked to other crimes.
