Police in East London confiscated drugs, stolen property, 24 bank cards and 17 cases of beer during an arrest in Perferville on Friday.
Spokesperson Captain Hazel Mqala says police obtained a search warrant for a house that is known to sell drugs, alcohol and where stolen goods are bought.
She says when police arrived a suspect jumped out of the first-floor window avoiding arrest.
His 56-year-old accomplice was however arrested in will appear in the local Magistrates Court on Monday.
During the arrest police also confiscated a box full of gold and silver jewellery, 15 ID books, a generator and power tools.
They also recovered an undisclosed amount of money, tik, dagga and mandrax tablets.
The street value of the goods is estimated to be R100 000.
