EL student arrested for murder

 Police have arrested a student for the alleged murder of a 19-year-old man.

Police spokesperson, captain Steven Marais, says they do not want to speculate over the motive for the killing at a property in Hill Street on Thursday.

Dispatch online reports that the teen was killed in a knife-fight, allegedly following a dispute over rent.

The suspect was also wounded in the fight and was admitted to hospital.

He will appear in court soon.
