East London Police have arrested a suspect for being in possession of twenty mandrax tablets hidden in his underwear.
Stephen Marais, says police noticed the man acting suspiciously as he walked along a road in Duncan Village.
Marais says upon investigation the 26-year old man tried to resist and denied the possession of drugs.
He was however, found with the mandrax tablets valued at R1600.
The suspect will appear in court on Thursday.
Captain Marais says police will continue to fight against the illegal drug trade, and recently seized 95 mandrax tablets in the area.
