Four men appeared in the East London Magistrates court on Tuesday in connection with a brutal double murder in Scenery Park last month.
And, in a dramatic twist, police arrested a fifth suspect who was in court sitting and watching his friends in the dock.
Police spokesperson, Captain Stephen Marais says bail was denied to the four accused, who are in their twenties.
He says the fifth suspect is due in court on Thursday.
Marais said earlier that the initial arrests were made just four days after the bound bodies of the woman and a man were found at a sports field in the area.
