East London police have arrested four suspects for the possession of drugs worth several thousand rand.
Police spokesperson, Lieutenant Nkosikho Mzuku says they were arrested on Monday in Mdantsane for dealing in mandrax.
Mzuku says an intelligence driven operation was conducted and police arrested the suspects in Unit 2 where they found the drugs and an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspects aged between 25 and 37 will appear in the Mdantsane magistrates court later on Tuesday.
