EL man gets three life sentences for rape and murder

An East London man has been sentenced to three life sentences in the Grahamstown High Court for rape and murder.

Police spokesperson, Lieutenant Nkosikho Mzuku says 33-year old Sipho Kula raped a 14 year old in Kwetyana n October 2012.

In a second incident, during the time when he was still at large, Kula raped a 16 year old at her Kwetyana home in June 2013.  

He also hacked a man to death after a lengthy argument in the same area.
