EL man electrocuted

An East London man has been electrocuted, while allegedly making an illegal electrical connection.

Police spokesperson, captain Stephen Marais, says the incident happened on Wednesday afternoon in Parkside, near John Bisseker High School.

He says the man was in his thirties.

Marais says Eskom technicians repaired the damage caused, adding that there were no power outages as a result of the tragedy.
