Two men have been arrested in connection with a house robbery in Unit 2 in Mdantsane in East London.
They allegedly held a family hostage on Monday night, tying them with up cables ties and gagging them with plastic.
Police spokesperson, Lieutenant Nkosikho Mzuku, says the suspects made off with house-hold goods valued at R15 000.
Police followed up on information, arrested the suspects and recovered the stolen goods.
The suspects, aged 19 and 21, will appear in the Mdantsane Magistrate's court on Wednesday.
