An East London man and his family arrested this week as part of a major drug bust by the Hawks, has been denied bail in the city's magistrate's court.
Livingstone Napoleon, his wife Ingrid and their 27-year-old son, Gladwin, were denied bail by Magistrate Nazeem Joemath on Thursday.
However, he granted bail of R20 000 each to their twin sons, Mohammad and Marvelous.
Police also seized R1.3 million rand in cash during the bust.
The Napoleon's were arrested in a city-wide bust by the Hawks which netted a total of 14 people on drug-related charges.
State Advocate Joel Cesar said he welcomed the outcome.
The family members will be back in court again on the 4th of September.
