Aliwal North police have arrested three suspects for the possession of suspected stolen livestock.
This, after 80 sheep were found slaughtered in Block 8 in the Maletswai Municipality.
Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Victor Bojabotsheha says they were acting on a tip-off when they made the arrests on Sunday.
He says the stock was traced back to Vredendal in the Free State.
Bojabotsheha says the suspects have been transferred to the Free State where they were due to appear in court on Tuesday.
