EC woman in court for drug dealing

A 58-year-old Port Alfred woman will appear in court on Monday on drug related charges.

Police said the woman was arrested in Nemato Township last week after police received a tip-off.

Police spokesperson, Captain Mali Govender, said that three big bags filled with dagga were found in a flatlet behind a house Zama Zama Street.

She said the dagga has an estimated street value of R83 850.

Govender said the home owner was then taken into custody on a charge of dealing in dagga.
