A 48-year-old woman has been arrested for possession of dagga at the Deyi Location in the Ngquthu Village near Kei Bridge, Eastern Cape police said.
Spokesperson Captain Jackson Manatha said the woman was arrested on Friday, at around 1am.
"The dagga had a weight of 3.5kg with a street value of R4,000. The suspect was arrested following police intelligence that she was in possession of dagga," he said.
The woman is expected to appear in the Butterworth Magistrate's Court on Monday, on a charge of possession of dagga.
