Police in Mdantsane arrested a 45-year-old woman who allegedly killed her estranged husband on Wednesday night.
Police Spokesperson Captain Mluleki Mbi says the woman and two male accomplices, allegedly barged into her husband's house and shot him in the head.
The wife then allegedly poured petrol over his girlfriend before setting the house alight.
Mbi says the girlfriend survived the attack and was taken to hospital.
The wife was arrested in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Her accomplices are still at large.
Police are investigating a case of murder, attempted murder and arson.
