Four Eastern Cape men have been given lengthy jail sentences in the Grahamstown High Court following their conviction for murder and rape.
The men from Alexandria were sentenced for the brutal murder of Port Elizabeth teenager, Bonelwa Mkhokheli in April 2012.
The 18-year-old, who had been visiting her grand-mother, had been abducted by the men, all in their late teens.
She was taken to a house where she was gang-raped, bludgeoned to death with a hammer and her body set alight.
The sentences were passed on Friday and are as follows:

Accused one who was 18 at the time was sentenced to 5 years for robbery, 12 years for being an accomplice to rape and 23 years for murder.
Accused two who was 16 at the time was sentenced to 18 years for rape and 20 years for murder.
Accused three who was 17 years at the time was sentenced to 10 years for being an accomplice to rape and 20 years for murder.
Accused four who was 16 at the time was sentenced to 5 years for being an accomplice rape and 12 years for murder.
The sentences for each accused will run concurrently.
