Eastern Cape police are searching for two men after a taxi owner from Libode was shot and killed on Friday night.
Police spokesperson, Brigadier Thembinkosi Kinana, said the 50-year-old man was approached by two men when he arrived at his home in the Zwelitsha locality in the Corhana Administrative Area.
He said one of the men opened fire on the taxi owner who sustained several wounds to the upper body. He was rushed to hospital where he was declared dead.
Kinana said the motive for his murder is not yet known.
