Eastern Cape police have welcomed the lengthy jail sentences imposed on two men for attempted murder and house robbery.
Police spokesperson, Lieutenant Siphokazi Mawisa, says Samkelo Ngcase and Mzukisi Nkatha, were jailed for 15 years in the Zwelisha Magistrate's Court this week.
She says they were arrested for an incident in Tyeni Location in Tamara last June when they stabbed and robbed a home-owner of a cellphone and cash.
King Williams Town Cluster Commander, Henry Vos has welcomed the sentence.
He also commended the Tamara police members for their commitment and diligent investigations which contributed to the conviction of the suspects.
