EC stick fighter in court for murder

A 20-year-old man is expected to appear in the Centane Magistrate's Court on Monday for allegedly killing an 18-year-old man during a game of stick fighting.

The teenager died after being struck on the upper body during the fight on Friday afternoon.

Eastern Cape police spokesperson, Captain Jackson Manatha says the man died at the scene.

The suspect was arrested and charged with murder.
