EC staff member has seen them all..

Eastern Cape Premier Lubabalo Oscar Mabuyane on Friday bade farewell to a hospitality staff member who served in the State House for 34 years.

Sindiswa Hamana (60) started working in Bhisho in 1985 and worked under the late Ciskei leader, Lenox Sebe, and then successive democratic Premiers, Raymond Mhlaba, Makhenkesi Stofile, Nosimo Balindlela, Mbulelo Sogoni and Phumulo Masualle.

She said she was considering writing a book about her time serving these provincial leaders.

Asked about her thoughts on the new Premier, who delivered his maiden State of the Province Address, Hamana said that she hoped that Mabuyane would be a good servant of the people of the Eastern Cape.

"We have listened to the Premier's promises on job creation, on new firms that will open in the Province and my hope is that he will be able to implement all these promises," she said.
