A 51-year-old Eastern Cape man has been sentenced to life imprisonment in the Willowvale Regional court for the rape of a disabled girl.
Police spokesperson, Captain Jackson Manatha, says Vukile Khethwa was jailed on Thursday for raping the child in May 2012.
Manatha says Khethwa raped the girl in a stock kraal in Mende location.
He says the child, who cannot speak and has difficulty in walking, was 13-years old at the time of the incident.
