An Eastern Cape policeman is scheduled to make another appearance in the Mthatha High Court on Monday in connection with the June abduction and murder of his ex-wife.
Former Eastern Cape Legislature employee, Nosipho Sidabuka-Jombile, was accosted while driving with her son on the N2 near the Tsitsa Bridge on 11 June.
He was injured in the incident but his mother was abducted and her body found a few days later in the Qanqu Locality.
Police later arrested her 52-year-old former husband, Phindile Jombile, a policeman, and co-accused Danisile Botyumpha, Lindiwe Jombile, Sibongile Komanisi, and Paul Adkins.
They were denied bail in September.
They are charged with murder, attempted murder, as well as the illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition. They were denied bail in September.
