Eastern Cape police have arrested two men for being in posession of dagga worth hundreds of thousand of rands.
Police spokesperson, warrant officer Cynthia Handile, says the men, aged 35 and 38, were arrested on Friday in an intelligence driven operation.
She says police pulled over a Bantam bakkie in the Hilton area in Aliwal North and upon searching the vehicle found 12 bags of dagga.
Handile says the dagga has a street value of more than R270 000.
She says the two suspects will appear in court on Monday.
