Eastern Cape police have arrested four men for their alleged involvement in card scamming at a roadblock on the R61 outside Flagstaff.
Spokesperson, Captain Welile Matyolo says members received information on Friday about a black Toyota Yaris with four occupants, who allegedly scammed two victims, one in KwaBhaca, formerly Mt Fletcher, and another in Flagstaff.
The vehicle was pulled off the road and upon searching it, police found several bank cards, a speedpoint machine, and R4 730 in cash.
Matyolo says the four men were arrested at the scene for the possession of suspected stolen property and the vehicle was confiscated.
The suspects, aged between 25 and 40, are expected to appear in the Flagstaff magistrate's court on Monday.
