EC police arrest 10 suspects in vehicle related theft

Port Elizabeth police have arrested four men who allegedly hijacked a car in Motherwell on Thursday night.
Police spokesperson, captain Stanley Jarvis, says five suspects robbed a motorist of his car at around 7pm and fled towards Walmer Township.
He says members of the flying squad apprehended the men in Target Kloof.
One of the suspects managed to evade arrest and is still at large.
Meanwhile, East London police have arrested six suspected members of a syndicate
stealing wheels off motor cars in the city.
Police captain Steven Marais, says the arrests were the result of joint work by several police units.
He says a policeman, using his private vehicle, followed the suspects leading to the recovery in Greenshields and Sunnyridge of tyres and rims belonging to luxury cars.
Marais says the suspects, aged between 23 and 48 will appear in court on Monday.
