Eastern Cape police are searching for 4 armed men, who robbed an old-age home in Despatch .

Spokesperson, Warrant Officer Gerda Swart says the four suspects gained access to the building through a window, threatened staff with knives and tied them up with cables.

The occupants of the old-age home were robbed of their cell phones, cash and bank cards.

The suspects fled the scene in the manager's blue Opel with registration number CXX 066 EC.

No arrests have yet been made.
