The murder and concealment of birth case against Melice Jacobs is back in the Mthatha High Court on Friday.
The 30-year-old mom was arrested in February after police found the bodies of four infants, a fetus and two placentas, in freezers at her Mthatha home.
An Mthatha woman made a brief court appearance Thursday in connection with the discovery of the bodies of four babies in freezers in her home.
She reportedly told police that the babies were her own children.
It is alleged that the offences took place between 2010 and December 2014. The Regional Spokesperson for the National Prosecuting Authority Luxolo Tyali, said Jacobs as facing four charges of murder and one of concealment of birth.
Jacobs got bail of R5 000 after spending a month in custody. A trial date will be given once the investigation is done.
