A 22-year-old Eastern Cape man has been stabbed to death following an argument with a 24-year-old man over "a girlfriend they shared".
Butterworth police spokesperson, Captain Jackson Manatha says it is alleged that both men quarrelled over a girlfriend, during which the younger man was fatally stabbed in the upper body in Bika Township on Saturday.
The 24-year-old suspect was arrested and is expected to appear in the Butterworth Magistrate's Court on Monday on a charge of murder.
Manatha said the identity of the deceased would be withheld until all family members had been informed of his death.
