EC man in court for possession of Mandrax

 A 38-year old man will appear in the Butterworth Magistrate's court on Tuesday on charges of possession of Mandrax.

Members of Queenstown Public Order Policing Unit arrested the man at Mchubakazi Township, Butterworth, on Monday.

A 132 mandrax tablets with a street value of R13 200 were found in his possession.

A large sum of money, believed to be the profits of drug-dealing, was also found in the suspect's possession.
