A 46-year-old man will appear in the Centane Magistrates Court on Thursday for allegedly raping his wife.
Police Spokesperson Captain Jackson Manatha says the couple is currently seperated.
He says the 35-year-old woman went to her husband's house on Tuesday to collect her belongings when he asked her for sex.
Manatha says when the woman turned him down he allegedly got upset and raped her.
She opened up a case immediately after the incident.
Police arrested the husband on Tuesday evening.
