EC man arrested for dagga possession

A 46- year-old man was arrested in Grahamstown for being in possesion of dagga.

Police spokesperson, Captain Mali Govender said the suspect was arrested during a crime intelligence driven operation in Joza on Monday.

Dagga weighing in the region of 65 kilograms and an estimated street value of more than R65 000 was seized.

The suspect is being held in custody and will appear in the Grahamstown Magistrates Court soon on drugs possession charges.
