Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality would like to inform members of the public that water distribution has been cut off in the following areas:
Dwesi, Magxaki, Bloemendal, Joe Slovo, KwaNoxolo and the surrounding areas.
The cut of water supply is due to a burst water main in the area of KwaNoxolo, which resulted in some of the neighbouring houses being flooded. Due to severity of the work that needs to be done, the Municipality has closed water supply to the affected damaged area of the main. A team of engineers and technicians are currently on site.
Water tankers have been despatched to the affected areas already, residents are requested to be on the lookout.
Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality would like to apologise for any inconvenience that has been caused by this unforeseen incident. The team on site is working tirelessly to close the damaged water main and bring water distribution to normality.
