Eastern Cape police have arrested a 44-year-old man for allegedly raping a 53-year-old relative at Centane.
Butterworth police spokesperson, Captain Jackson Manatha says it is alleged that the woman was raped in a village near the town in August.
He says the suspect is the youngest brother of the victim's late husband.
Manatha says the woman later opened a case at the Centane Police Station, and the man was arrested on Saturday.
He will appear in the local Magistrate's Court on Monday.
