Eastern Cape Transport MEC, Tandiswa Marawu, says everything's on track for the provincial government to take over the province's Government Fleet Management Services.
The take-over is effective from today following the conclusion of the Transfer Extension Agreement between Bhisho and the company, Fleet Africa Eastern Cape.
The Eastern Cape has four government garages to manage the government fleet.
MEC Marawu visited the government garage in East London today to assess its readiness to handle the province's fleet services.
She says the department of Transport is ready and more than capable to take over this crucial service.
