Eastern Cape police are searching for the gunmen who shot and killed a couple in the Ngxoki Administrative Area near Ngcobo on Saturday night.
Police spokesperson, Captain Namhla Mdleleni, said two gunmen entered the couple’s home at around 8 pm and opened fire while they were watching television.
She said the 53-year-old husband and his 48-year-old wife died on the scene but their children were unhurt.
Mdleleni said a double murder case is under investigation and the motive for the killing is not known at this stage,” she said.
