A 42-year-old Constable from Sterkspruit in the Eastern Cape will appear in court on Monday for allegedly killing a colleague and wounding another.
Provincial police spokesperson, Colonel Sibongile Soci, says the shooting happened on Wednesday while the three were off-duty.
She says the suspect assaulted a Constable Tutu, following an argument.
When the third off-duty policeman tried to intervene, the Constable allegedly drew his firearm and fatally wounded his colleague while shooting Tutu in the lower body.
Tutu was discharged from hospital on Friday.
The name of the deceased policeman has not yet been released.
