Two Eastern Cape brothers have been jailed for life for murdering three people in a village near Bizana on New Year's Day this year.
Thamsanqa Shezi and his brother Mduduzi were jailed yesterday by Magistrate Marius Odendaal who reportedly described them as the butcher brothers.
They were found guilty of slaying a 74-year-old woman, attacking her with a panga and knob-kierie.
When her daughter came to her rescue, she was also bludgeoned to death.
The court heard that the men also killed a 41-year-old man.
Odendaal said the brothers will not be eligible for parole for 25 years.
