The Nelson Mandela-based Mantis Collection has been voted Africa’s Leading Boutique Hotel Brand.
The award was made at the 24th annual World Travel Awards in Kigali, Rwanda.
The Mandela Bay Development Agency Board of Directors congratulated well-known businessman, Adrian Gardiner, on the award.
In a statement on Tuesday, MBDA Board Chairperson Phil Goduka said“it gives us great pride to know that this Nelson Mandela Bay run operation is able to compete and win against the best in the world of hospitality and tourism.”
“As the Board we know that Adrian has a demanding international business portfolio with huge responsibilities, but will all that Adrian is still able to plough back to Nelson Mandela Bay through his insightful participation and wisdom as Board Director of the MBDA,” he said.
World Travel Awards were established in 1993 to acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all sectors of the tourism industry.
