Four people have been killed in an accident on the R408 near Ngcobo in the direction of Dutywa in the Eastern Cape.
The Provincial Traffic Department says the accident happened on Saturday afternoon when a vehicle overturned.
Four occupants died at the scene, and one sustained critical injuries.
The Department says the Isuzu truck was travelling from eNgcobo loaded with cement and building blocks, and while approaching a steep slope, the driver lost control.
Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.
