Eastern Cape Premier, Nxolo Kievit has described the Jobs Summit held in East London this week as a 'phenomenal success' - and praised stakeholders for their pledges to contribute in addressing the unemployment challenge in the province.
She says the fact that some projects have started, while billions of rands have been committed for their roll out, will ensure that the desired results are realised.
Kievit says the province's Jobs Strategy has been adopted as it's guiding framework in the pursuit to lift the unemployed out of economic inactivity.
