The ANC in the Eastern Cape says it will respond to the Report of a National Task Team that probed irregularities with the party list process during the last local government election on Tuesday.
The task team, led by former Home Affairs Minister, Nkosazana Dlamini -Zuma, had found that the ANC's membership system had been manipulated.
Yesterday, the ANC's national executive committee said it would implement all the recommendations of the task team - including recalling councillors and calling for fresh by-elections.
The Eastern Cape was one of several provinces that came under the scrutiny of the task team.
