East London police have arrested eight woman in Duncan Village for allegedly stealing food from the Nompumulelo Primary school.
Police spokesperson, captain Steven Marais says the food forms part of the governments feeding scheme.
Six of the suspects were staff at the school.
Marais says the value of the stolen goods are between R8 000 and R10 000.
The suspects between the ages of 18 and 45 will appear in court On Friday.
