East London woman killed in accident on N2 near Gonubie

A 29-year old woman was killed in an accident on the N2 Highway towards Gonubie in East London on Friday.

Police spokesperson, Captain Hazel Mqala says she apparently lost control of the vehicle and it overturned.

She says the victim was flung from the vehicle and a passerby saw the body lying in bushes on the side of the road.

Paramedics were called and she was declared dead at the scene.

Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.
